Constantine I, 307/310-337. Follis (Bronze, 18 mm, 2.94 g, 12 h), Rome, circa 320. CONST-ANTINVS AVG Laureate, helmeted and cuirassed bust of Constantine I to right. Rev. VOT X / ET XV F / R Q in three lines within wreath. RIC -. Apparently unique. Thin flan crack and with very minor roughness on the reverse, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.

From the collection of Dr. L. Ramskold, formed since 1969.

This is the only example known of this type from officina Q, and among the finest, with Constantine I wearing a laureate helmet (bust type D6). A total of nine examples are known, two from officinae T and Q, respectively, and seven from officina P, of which five are in the Ramskold Collection.
